Effective October 19, 2026. A full refund any time before you send it to print, and a replacement at no cost if it arrives damaged or goes missing.
Where you are, and what a refund looks like there
- Free sample. You tell us three moments and share a few photos. We write and paint three sample pages and the cover and email them to you. Your sample pages are free. No charge, nothing to refund.
- You order. If you like the samples, you pay, and then answer the full questionnaire. We write and paint the rest of the book. You read every page on your private preview, change what you want, and approve each page. Full refund at any point in this stage, for any reason, by one email to hello@lovenotepress.com.
- You send it to print. When every page carries your approval, you press “Send it to print”. That locks the book and it goes to the printer. No refund for a change of mind from here on, because the book is being made just for you.
- It ships, tracked. If it arrives damaged or misprinted, or goes missing on the way, we replace it at no cost or refund you in full. Send us a few clear photos of the damaged or misprinted book. You do not need to ship it back to us.
Before you approve your book for print
Cancel any time, for any reason, for a full refund. Email hello@lovenotepress.com and it is done.
After you approve it for print
The book is being made just for you, so it cannot be returned or refunded for a change of mind. That approval is yours alone: every page, then one final confirmation.
Damaged, misprinted or defective
We make it right: a replacement copy at no cost, or a full refund if you would rather. Send us a few clear photos of the damaged or misprinted book. You do not need to ship it back to us.
Lost on the way
Every book ships tracked. If the carrier declares it lost, or tracking shows no delivery 15 business days after dispatch in the US and Canada (30 elsewhere), we send a replacement at no cost. If tracking shows it was delivered and it is not with you, write to us and we will sort it out with you and the carrier.
How refunds are paid
To the card you paid with, through Stripe. We send the refund within a few business days of your email, and your bank shows it within 5 to 10 business days.
The rest
- If we refuse or cancel an order because it breaks the terms, you get a full refund unless the book was already locked for print.
- Nothing here takes away rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
